It's a great one. I've been reading blogs and passing on things I've read to friends. Your story there is an important/relevant one I'd say. The barriers/limitations of language and in how we relate to everything(relationships) is quite apparent when talking to our animal friends. :)
My root teacher, Zen Master Seung Sahn, used to say, "Dog understands dog's job. Cat understands cat's job. Only human being doesn't understand its job."
